Thelma Patrick Peterson

Tybee Island- Thelma Patrick Peterson, 89, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Memorial University Medical Center.
She was born on January 21, 1921 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, to Josephine and Ozzie Patrick. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Charles M. Peterson, and survived by three nephews, Steven Patrick of Baltimore, Maryland; Charles T. Patrick, Jr. of Dayton, Ohio; and Charles M. Patrick of Coleman, Florida.
She worked at Great Dane Trailers for more than 30 years. Mrs. Peterson was a resident of Tybee Island for over 60 years.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2010 with a Vigil Service at 4:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Tybee Island. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
